Jazz Fest 2024 Ticket Package FAQs

Q: Does the Jazz Fest have a minimum age?
A: Nope! Jazz Fest is open to people of all ages! However, when purchasing a ticket package, all persons must be at 21+ to check into the hotel. People under the age of 21 may still occupy a room; however, the person whose name is booked on the reservation must be 21+ of age to check in and must present valid photo identification.
Q: Do these ticket packages come with festival-access?
A: Yes! All ticket packages come with either 2 GA or VIP Tickets. You will get the same perks as any other non-ticket package guests with the same ticket-type in addition to all the perks you’ll get as a Ticket Package guest.
Q: Can I purchase a package over the phone?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to process any orders over the phone and therefore all packages must be purchased online.
Q: Is there a payment plan for these packages?
A: Yes, there are payment plans for all ticket packages! To use the payment plan, select payment plan at checkout. You may pay in full if you do not want to use a payment plan. Payment plans are available for all orders over $200. Subsequent payment will be automatically charged using the original form of payment. The offered plan is –
25% Down Payment Plan
- $4 per payment fee.
- 25% down payment, remaining balance due on 1/15, 2/15 and 3/15
- 4 total payments.
Missed Payments:
- You will have a 10-day grace period to pay. If payment is not received by the 10th day after the initial charge is run, your order may be cancelled at any time.
- If you opted into a payment plan, please note: defaulted payment plan installments will not be refunded. For any order that defaults on the payment plan, all money will be issued as a Jazz Fest Credit via Fan Account. Please note, the funds will expire 12 months from time of issuance.
Q: What are the check-in and check-out dates?
A: All 3-night Packages will check-in on the Friday and all 4-night Packages will check-in on the Thursday of each weekend.
Q: What are the differences between the Krewe of Jazz, Grand Marshal, and Big Chief VIP tickets?
A: You can view specific details regarding each ticket type on the official Jazz Fest website here.
Q: Where will I receive my tickets?
A: On Location representatives will be at a designated location within the hotel to assist you. Here you can check in and pick up your tickets. Basically, one-stop check-in for everything!
Please be sure to bring your photo ID and credit card. Although your room is paid for in full, you will need a credit card for any incidentals you may incur. As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an informational email with the exact time and location for Ticket Package check-in.
Q: Is parking provided at the hotel?
A: Hotel parking is not included in the package. Valet and self-parking are available upon arrival for additional fees. However, shuttle transportation to and from the venue is included in your ticket package. As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an email with all the event details, including the times and locations for the shuttle services.
Q: Do I need to purchase a festival parking pass/is shuttle service included in my package?
A: It is not necessary to purchase parking passes with this ticket package. Shuttle service between the hotel and venue is included in your package. We will let you know the specific shuttle schedule closer to the event – stay tuned for an informational email!
Q: Can I extend my stay beyond the ticket package dates?
A: We are offering the additional night add-ons of Wed. 4/24, Mon. 4/29, Tues 4/30 as well as Wed. 5/1 and Mon. 5/6. Please contact us at [email protected] to request a private link to purchase.
To add additional nights outside of what we offer to your ticket package, you will need to book those nights directly with the hotel. Please note, the front desk will most likely not have your ticket package reservation information yet. Once you’ve booked the additional night(s) with the hotel, please reach out to our Guest Services team at [email protected] with your reservation information and we’d be happy to submit a request to the hotel to link the reservations. While the hotel will always do their best to accommodate, there is a small chance you may have to switch rooms as all additional night requests are based on hotel availability.
Q: I purchased a package as a gift, but I will not be in attendance. How can my friend and family member pick up their ticket on my behalf?
A: To accommodate this, the original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team at [email protected] to authorize an alternate pick-up person at least 2 weeks before the event date. This authorization will allow a friend or family member to pick up the package on the purchaser’s behalf. All informational emails and correspondence will still go to the original purchaser, and it is up to them to relay the information to the guest that is attending the event.
Q: As a VIP guest, how will I be able to find all the amazing VIP amenities and services throughout the festival?
A: Check out the Jazz Fest website for more festival information and details! Additionally, as it gets closer to the event, the purchaser will receive an email with all important event details.
Q: As a VIP, will I have access to all GA areas?
A: Yes! You will be able to access any area of the festival that General Admission guests are permitted to access. (Please note – this does not include GA+ areas)
Q: Can I use my On Location package for a contest/giveaway or to promote my website/product/event?
A: No. On Location’s and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s trademarks, intellectual property, tickets and other offerings may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, auctions, contests, sweepstakes or any commercial purpose, without express written consent from On Location and its partners. Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want my package?
A: All packages are non-refundable. Please refer to the Purchase Policy for complete details.
