Q: Does the Lost Lands Festival have a minimum age?
A: Yes! Lost Lands Festival is an 18+ event. However, when purchasing a hotel package, all persons must be 21+ to check into the hotel. People under the age of 21 may still occupy a room; however, the person whose name is booked on the reservation must be 21 years of age to check in and must present valid photo identification. All other guests must be 18+ to attend the event.
Q: Do these hotel packages come with festival-access?
A: Yes! All hotel packages come with either 2 or 4 GA or VIP Tickets. You will get the same perks as any other non-hotel package guests with the same ticket-type in addition to all the perks you’ll get as a Hotel Package purchaser!
Q: Is there a payment plan for these packages?
A: Yes! Fans may opt to put 50% down until July 14th, 2023. For purchases made before June 30th, the second 50% installment will be collected on July 28. For purchases made between July 1-July 15, the second 50% installment will be collected on Aug 15th.
Defaulting on your Payment Plan means that your order will be canceled, and you will be charged the $200 termination fee and the $20 layaway plan fee. There are no exceptions. It is up to you to keep track of the payment dates and check your bank account and credit card regularly.
Q: I already purchased tickets to the event, but I would like a Hotel Package! How can I switch?
A: Please contact our Guest Services team at [email protected] for assistance! Pending availability, we may be able to accommodate you with a refund of your initial order for the repurchase of a hotel package. This is based on availability and not guaranteed, so please contact us directly to inquire about the option before purchasing a hotel package.
Q: Where will I receive my festival tickets?
A: On Location representatives will be at a designated location within your hotel to assist you. Here you can check in, and pick up your tickets, as well as any merchandise or additional items that come with your package, aka a one-stop check-in for everything!
Please be sure to bring your photo ID and credit card. Although your room is paid for in full, you will need a credit card for any incidentals you may incur. As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an informational email with the exact time and location for Hotel Package check-in.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out at each hotel?
A: We abide by the hotels’ standard check-in and check-out times, which are:

Check in begins at 3pm; Check out by noon
Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown
Check-in begins at 4pm; check out by noon.

Q: Is parking provided at the hotel?
A: Hotel parking is not included in the package. Valet and self-parking are available upon arrival for additional fees.

Q: I see daily transportation to the festival is included. How does that work?
A: Dedicated Hotel Package shuttles will run multiple times throughout the day between participating hotels and the festival site. Additional details including the schedule and pickup/drop off locations will be provided via email in advance of the event.
Q: Can I extend my stay beyond the hotel package dates?
A: During the purchase process for your hotel package, you will be able to purchase the additional night of Wed. 9/20 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown and the Sonesta Columbus Downtown, pending availability.
If you are staying at the Renaissance, Courtyard by Marriott, or the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown, to add additional nights to your hotel package, you will need to book those nights directly with the hotel. Please note, the front desk will most likely not have your hotel package reservation information yet.
If you have booked additional nights through the hotel directly, please reach out to our Guest Services team at [email protected] with your reservation information and we’d be happy to submit a request to the hotel to link the reservations. While the hotel will always do their best to accommodate, there is a small chance you may have to switch rooms as all additional night requests are based on hotel availability.

Q: Can I use my Headbanger Hotel Package for a contest/giveaway or to promote my website/product/event?
A: No. On Location’s trademarks, intellectual property, tickets and other offerings may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, auctions, contests, sweepstakes or any commercial purpose, without express written consent from On Location and its partners. Please see our purchase policy for more detail.
Q: I purchased a package as a gift, but I will not be in attendance. How can my friend or family member pick up their ticket on my behalf?
A: In order to accommodate this, the original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team [email protected] to authorize an alternate pick-up person at least 2 weeks before the event date. This authorization will allow a friend or family member to pick up the package on the purchaser’s behalf. The new guest checking in must be 21+. All informational emails and correspondence will still go to the original purchaser, and it is up to them to relay the information to the guest that is attending the event.
Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want my package?
A: All packages are non-refundable. Please refer to the Purchase Policy for complete details.
