HiJinx 2023 Travel Package FAQs

Q: Does the HiJinx Festival have a minimum age?
A: Yes! All guests attending HiJinx must be 18+. However, when purchasing a travel package, all persons must be at least 21 to check into the hotel. People under the age of 21 may still occupy a room; however, the person whose name is booked on the reservation must be 21 years of age to check in and must present valid photo identification.
Q: Do these travel packages come with festival-access?
A: Yes! All travel packages come with either 2 or 4 GA, GA+ or VIP Tickets. You will get the same perks as any other non-travel package guests with the same ticket-type in addition to all the perks you’ll get as a Travel Package guest!
Q: How should I place my order? Can I order over the phone?
A: We are unable to process any orders over the phone and therefore all packages must be purchased online. You should click the purchase button on our website next to the package you are interested in purchasing. You will then be directed to another site to make your order – the ticketing agent of the venue.
Q: Is there a payment plan for these packages?
A: Yes, there are payment plans for all travel packages! An initial 60% will be charged upon purchasing your package and the final 40% payment will be automatically deducted on 10/20/23. If you purchase after October 20th, you will be charged for the package in full upon your purchase. Please note: This is an automatic payment plan, meaning you won’t need to choose to enter it – you’re on the plan simply by clicking “purchase.” Please note – additional ticketing or purchase fees may apply.
Q: Where will I receive my tickets?
A: You will receive your tickets via digital delivery from Ticketmaster closer to the event date. To access your tickets in the Ticketmaster Mobile App you will need to use the email associated with your Tickets Today account. To redeem all elements of your order you must present your receipt, picture ID, and credit card at the program check-in.
Q: I purchased a package as a gift, but I will not be in attendance. How can my friend and/or family member pick up their ticket on my behalf?
A: In order to accommodate this, the original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team at [email protected] to authorize an alternate pick-up person at least 2 weeks before the event date. This authorization will allow a friend or family member to pick up the package on the purchaser’s behalf. All informational emails and correspondence will still go to the original purchaser, and it is up to them to relay the information to the guest that is attending the event and to transfer the event tickets to them.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out at each hotel?
A: We abide by the hotels’ standard check-in and check-out times, which are:

Q: Is parking provided at the hotel?
A: Hotel parking is not included in the package. Valet and self-parking are available upon arrival for additional fees. As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an email with all the event details, including the times and locations for the shuttle services.
Q: Do I need to purchase a festival parking pass/is shuttle service included in my package?
A: It is not necessary to purchase a parking pass, as the festival is within easy walking distance of the hotels. We’ll provide you with some handy walking directions nearer to the event.
Q: Can I extend my stay beyond the travel package dates?
A: Yes! You will have the option to purchase Thursday 12/28 as an add on during the purchase process, pending availability.
If there are further additional nights outside of what we offer that you would like to book, please do so with the hotel directly. Once you’ve booked the additional night(s), please reach out to our Guest Services team at [email protected] with your reservation information and we’d be happy to submit a request to the hotel to link the reservations. While the hotel will always do their best to accommodate, there is a small chance you may have to switch rooms as all additional night requests are based on hotel availability.
Q: How far is each hotel from the festival?
Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia is a one-minute walk (361 feet) from the festival.
Hampton Inn Philadelphia Convention Center is a four-minute walk (.2 miles) from the festival
Q: Can I use my On Location package for a contest/giveaway or to promote my website/product/event?
A: No. On Location’s trademarks, intellectual property, tickets and other offerings may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, auctions, contests, sweepstakes or any commercial purpose, without express written consent from On Location and its partners. Please see our purchase policy for more detail.
Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want my package?
A: All packages are non-refundable. Please refer to the Purchase Policy for complete details.
Q: Am I going to have an amazing time?
A: ABSOLUTELY!
