While we were working hard at this year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival we made it a priority to catch The Avett Brother’s incredible What Stage performance on Sunday evening. It came as no surprise it was the band’s fifth Bonnaroo appearance since 2006. Their unique fusion of alt-country, bluegrass, and folk had us jumping up and down for most of their 90 minute set. Opening up for the great Elton John was a privilege these guys definitely deserved.
Since the band walked off What Stage we have been counting down the minutes until we see The Avett Brothers again. Next week we will be traveling across the country for their three-night run at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. From July 11-13 your friends at CID will be hosting a number of VIP experiences for our fellow Avett Brothers fans!After having the privilege of being involved with so many of their incredible performances this year, it only makes sense that we send off 2014 with them. We can’t wait to spend New Years Eve in their home state of North Carolina to ring in the new year with style! Who else will we be seeing there?
