Our wonderful Guest Services Assistant Manager, Taylor, just got back from working Luke’s show @ Heinz Field in Pittsburgh! Here’s what she had to say…
This past weekend I had the pleasure of working our VIP program on-site at Luke Bryan’s first stadium show ever in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field. I have never been a huge country fan, however, Luke Bryan puts on a truly impressive show. Not only is he a talented singer and musician, but he also is a world-class performer. He keeps the show fresh and upbeat by bringing in other country artists to sing with him, interacting with fans, and of course flashing his pearly whites for all the ladies. Luke’s contagious energy could be felt like a wave crashing over the crowd.
One of my favorite moments was when he asked the spotlight to be put on the top right section of the audience, the section farthest from the stage. He told a story of how he sat up there the night before the show and had a drink. He then went on to explain that he hid a hat behind a bar next to the corner seat. The lucky guest who found the hat was able to have it singed by Luke Bryan himself. By the end of the show, I was a little drunk on Luke Bryan and high on summertime. Who knows, maybe even a converted country fan.
