Have you seen the MTV VMA’s nominations?

I can’t lie, one of my favorite nights of the year is the MTV Video Music Awards and I was ecstatic to see some of the artists that got nominated this year! This year’s break-out artists are making sure everyone knows they can hold their own as they take nominations next to some of the industry’s most established artists for categories such as “Best Collaboration,” “Best Hip-Hop,” ”Best Choreography,” and of course “Video of the Year”.  

However, I am not surprised at all that leading the competition with the most nominations (8) is Queen Bey who has dominated the music scene this year… #WCW. Yet, Beyonce isn’t the only nomination I’m happy to see. Other nominations include Eminem who’s right behind with 7 nominations, Lorde, Calvin Harris, and newcomer Iggy Azalea. All of whom are performing at Lollapalooza next weekend!
